A wooden crate?
![]() 08/26/2013 at 12:02 |

My first answer is quite obviously a crate.
It is a transaxle of some sort. The bellhousing tells me it is VW based, but it doesn't quite look right.

Old VW Bug.
![]() 08/26/2013 at 12:11 |
|
Which means it's a rear-engine car. I'd say a vintage 911.

Though a FWD Chevrolet...?
![]() 08/26/2013 at 12:14 |

Has to be a Rear-engined VW or Porsche.
![]() 08/26/2013 at 12:15 |
|
First off, that's a transaxle. :)
I'm going to say it came out of a aircooled Porsche or VW. Where's it going? I haven't got the foggiest idea.
Sandrail?
Edit - it's early 911 or 912 4 speed

993 911?

|
Wasn't paying attention, I saw transmission, I thought I'd throw a random car up.
Although, a mid engined nova would be fun...
